Abstract
International audience In continuation of studies on the practices of the sacred in the World Wide Web, we propose in this paper a hypothesis that seems not only relevant but also essential to approach this problem, whatever the theme or the angle considered. The hypothesis is the following: any sacred practice in the World Wide Web is an expression of innovative experience of a norm. More precisely, we postulate that in any study on the sacred in relation to the World Wide Web necessarily four items must be considered: the transgressions of technology norms and reports to the representations, the theoretical apparatus of orientation in the production process meaning, the functional normative of dialectic ritual, the constant innovation of the norm.
