Abstract
As part of the strengthening of the human management of the Villavicencio IPS in 2020, which seeks to contribute to organizational development, one of its sections seeks to determine salary elements and gender equality of those who work in the sector. The study was carried out using a quantitative and descriptive methodology, and as a population there were collaborators at all levels in the IPS, who were given a questionnaire to collect information. The results show that the sector has a great relationship, where the more education or experience, the higher the salary they will earn; where the gender that predominates in the sector is women, but there is a wage inequality for them regardless of the type of working day they are developing.
