How can the media tell the infanticidal violence which breaks a powerful taboo and very present standards of Gender in the collective representations? By being interested in the cover of the trial of "the Courjault Affair" by national quality newspapers, this article shows how the media narratively split the figure of the "mother" and that of the "murderess", and articulate narratives and Gender standards.
