`titrebSummary`/titrebThe response of professionals to adolescent violence is discussed in the context of an institution where children and young adolescents are sent for behavioral disorders. The need to control such outbursts can become arbitrary. However the question remains: what is the answer to acute attacks of violence? This paper is based on ten years’ cooperation involving the director of the institution, the consultant child psychiatrist, the educators, the therapists and the adolescents themselves.
