Abstract
This article tells us about Jeanine’s path: physically hurt, she looks back on her story and attempt to understand the impact of the sexual violences she suffered in her childhood. These sexual traumas (rape, fondling) in the context of her family came to muddle the points of references on which she could rely to differentiate herself from and identify herself with fiable masculine and feminine references. They also short-circuited her phantasmatic activities. In addition, Jeanine questions in her therapy her difficulties in becoming wife and mother. The rêve éveillé offers her a projecting support to distance herself from her traumatic experience and to allow her access to a path of elaboration.
