the specific training course for Arabic manuscripts will take place on Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 October 2015 on the Cardinal LemHeritage site of the College of France. The common Monday day for the various ITIV traineeships gives trainees an overview of the work and research on manuscripts and humanist book: introduction to codicology, writing history, layout and decoration, transmission of texts, history of libraries, transition from manuscript to printed, linked, etc.
