Abstract
Since 2002 from various UNLP academic units, we have made efforts to maintain links with social organisations on the periphery of the region La Platform-Berisso-Ensenada. Based on the experience of research and advice to organisations in peripheral neighbourhoods on the basis of voluntary or other extension projects, we have identified certain weaknesses in the training of the human resources of territorial organisations. This situation has also been pointed out by the representatives of these Community organisations, who face problems linked to unequal access to the city: the lack of recreational and cultural proposals for boys, girls and young people from popular sectors, job insecurity, self-management difficulties, gender-based violence, racism and the lack of public services and basic infrastructure and sanitation accompanying precarious tenure of land and housing. This project proposes to establish spaces for the formation of district references, generating tools for identifying problems and possibilities for solving them. The axes to be addressed shall be: Argentina and Latin American history; Human rights; Economic, social and cultural rights; Rights of children and young people; The right to health and the environment; Genus and patriarchate; Community communication and planning.
