Abstract
National audience Developers are the new icons of innovation, at the heart of the emergence of new technological objects (drones, 3D printer, biotechnology, etc.) and new uses. Often installed in the renovated subsoil of companies, sometimes hackers, sharing their time between official work and personal projects, they go beyond management standards and standard work organisation. Their skills do not come from standard training, they are acquired as they explore new technologies. Paris Chrysos tells the story of developers, decrypts their way of action and thinking, and unveils the new rules of innovation. The author reveals that developers are the forerunners of a pre-garden work culture. It explains their role in the new economy and how they achieve an atypical creative process to make better solutions or project new technological dreams.
