Abstract
Gender is a powerful factor in the production of space, including public space. It meets gender norms and helps to perpetuate a gender dichotomic and hierarchical society. The School is a place to learn about these gender norms. Despite the republican principles it should convey, the School is therefore involved in reproducing an unequal society. This memory questions the potential contributions, from a civic equality point of view, to teach teenagers, gender issues in the public space. To this end, a research facility has been implemented in two classes of sixth.
