Abstract
the Achats function is an interface and relationship function. External but also internal relations. It is of course a financial management function, a risk management function, but also a value creation function. One of its major challenges is to bring about change, in line with the long-term business strategy, in line with the short-term objectives, but also with its vision, which is essential for its ability to call into question the established order, in order to achieve ever more performance and innovation. There is no doubt that the Achats function must embrace the digital revolution, a source of disruption of all kinds and at all levels. When speaking of disruption, the word uberiser has passed into everyday language in just a few years, as a symbol of the strength of these unexpected and violent transformations for businesses and sectors that do not see them. And this is what these are: anticipate and listen to weak signals, failing which they will be uberised. As part of this study, we would like to raise the subject of crowding, which is a subject of disintermediation and disruption if it is one. The phenomenon is not recent, but it is growing, and while other companies have not yet been “crowded out”, this does not mean that it should not be the first to address it. Thus, the issue which I will try to address in this brief is as follows: what role for the Purchasing function in Enterprise 3.0, in the era of crowding?
