Abstract
According to Foucault the truth of the body in modernity is a privilege of biomedical sciences, which promote a mathematical and geometrical relationship subject to various measurement procedures. We build on this basis to undertake a genealogy that allows us to understand the scope of this project in the field of education and bodily education. The work we present is based on this theorisation to explore various areas that pose problems with the links between the body and education, based on the input of the French philosopher. The genealogy that he has embarked on in recent years, and which is at the heart of the subject’s problem, opens us a fertile horizon to place the complex problem of the relationship between the subject and the truth, or better, the triad: subject, truth and power. We understand that at that time in your work we find the most promising concepts for broadening the horizon of debate in the human sciences in general and in the field of body education in particular.
