Abstract
`titrebAnxiety and Depression in Multiple Sclerosis. A Study concerning 100 Tunisian patients`/titrebAims To assess the frequency of anxiety and depression and their correlation in relation to the clinical profile in 100 patients with multiple sclerosis (MS).Patients and methods We conducted a cross-sectional study of 100 patients with confirmed MS. The assessment of anxiety and depressive symptoms was done using HADS (Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale).Results and Conclusion : anxiety and depression were found in 30% and 23% of cases respectively. The depression score was strongly correlated with the degree of disability and disease duration of MS.
