‘titrebSummary’/titles of the world is a web resource centre set up by Monique Slodzian, François Stuck and Michel Bottin, dedicated to world script applications. Its aim is to give access to a whole context, both technical and cultural, which is essential for managing documents or writing in multi-entry situations. Given that Unicode concerns only universal character coding, the majority of users lack all the cultural and technical knowledge available to them. This site therefore incorporates elements of the genealogy and history of the records. It also describes the general Unicode system and the wider IT context (search engine, fonts, text processing, alphabetical tris and other multilingual management tools). Finally, it describes specific knowledge: traditional or computer typography, transliteration, calligraphy, etc.
