This book follows the XIth round table of the Syrian Studies Society of November 2013 on ‘scientific’ texts preserved in Syriac. He highlighted the importance of the exchanges that the Mesopotamia and Babylonia erudits had established with the intellectual circles Alexandrin, constantinopolitan and Cypriot, also, particularly in the 6th and VIIth., on subjects as varied as medicine, mathematics, astronomy, geography, botanics, etc.
