For the author of this article, the Kantiano refusal to identify his concept of a priori with the leibnician notion of the innate can only be understood in a clear and precise manner if we use the kantiana conception of epigenesis as an epistemological model; in other words, if we consider cognitive skills as training forces that combine with other forces of nature to enable the original acquisition of intuitions and concepts a priori.
