Abstract
The article starts from the discovery of the complexity of the phenomenon of violence, either because of the wide range of actors involved or because of the heterogeneity of the factors affecting it, then goes on to briefly describe all the crises (economic, environmental, food and energy) that are currently going through the global system. This is compounded by the hegemony crisis of the US side in the system. On this basis, it speculates on the impact that the combination of the two phenomena may have on violence. The article ends with some remarks on fascination with direct violence, which is suspected if it has the obvious or latent function of concealing structural violence and the criminality of ‘white gloves’.
