Abstract
Coherent with transnational interests, particularly financial interests, the general conception of the economic and social model that has been established in Latin America is neoliberal. In other words, in the general context, the four basic lines that make up the pillars of the model will apply: market freedom and, as a axis, real prices, freedom of domestic and international trade, labour flexibility, and removal from the State in economic and social matters, because private activity is now essential in regulating the economy and in the social distribution of profits.
