Abstract
The aim of this study was to identify the prevalence of Common Mental Transtorms (CMT) on public servers of the State Just iça and to verify the existence of associations between socio-graphical variables and occupational narrowers between men and women. The analytical sample consisted of 541 public servers, 354 women and 187 men, belonging to an institution of the State Judiciary of Rio Gr ande do Sul in 2011. The tools used were Self Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ-20) to assess the Common Mental Travellers and a question of socio-demographic, employment and occupational data issues. The results showed that women have a higher prevalence of LCC. The relationship between CMT and socio-demographic and occupational variables, according to sex, is related to working time and to the limited workload, diversity, complexity of work and renewal with management, colleagues and the social environment. Data were discussed as part of understanding the contemporary labour market and its interface with gênery relationships. The results point to the need for differentiated inventions in the research groups.
