Abstract
The course refers to a bachelor’s degree in distance learning science and presence in a mentoring relationship by email. This article is a testimony of a practice of mentoring by email. He presented the mentoring organisation set up by a mentor. The aim here is to take a qualitative look at tutoral coaching as part of distance learning. The training at issue here is distance learning with a bachelor’s degree in education sciences. Students attending this course, offered by the CNED Poitiers/University of Rouen, may choose between tutoring by post, telephone or e-mail. A number of criteria are used for setting up mentoring groups, the method of mentoring chosen by the student is one.
