Abstract
Between November 2011 and November 2012, the University of Nantes (Centre nantais de sociologie, EA 3260) was responsible for a research project on the inventory of traditional games in France, at the request of the Department of Research and Scientific Policy Steering of the Ministry of Culture and Communication. This report, which marks the end of this research project but also opens up on complementary work, sets out the methodology of the research operations undertaken for 12 months and the results obtained. It concluded with a set of recommendations concerning the measures that it would be desirable to take in the future.
