Open online access to legal doctrine in Italy and France: the confrontation of two traditions of legal data-processing
Abstract
thanks to a tradition of public legal computing of more than 50 years, Italy has a free doctrinal and legislative database on Do.Gi., which is distinct from the French commercial product Le doctrinal. Do.GI is both a search engine and a database offering free services, such as access to the package leaflet of bibliographic references checked and validated by documentation professionals, a summary of the text in Italian and English and a Do.Gi style that can be incorporated into bibliography support software such as Zotero in particular.
