Abstract

Arts and vital experience of incommunication, that of Felisberto Hernández (Montevideo 1902-1964), is above all a conjectural reflection of loneliness, as the uprooting of the sublime, and an unfinished manifestation of the outright failure of human and aesthetic, existential and ethical failure, of which the readings must be updated, a group of his passionate readers, friends of his literature, dazzled every day by these great lies revealing the most true truths, which are the stories of the great montevideo. Anxious to update the reading from a half-century perspective between his definitive concealment of the world of fatalities, demonstrating that Felisberto’s concern to be nothing is perhaps the most real and legal trivial and dense way of being and being in the world because it does not represent anyone. This certainty led it to invent narratives with a single objective: deploring, disclosing and fusing the world in long-lasting aesthetic facts. So long-lasting that today they lead to unprecedented interpretations and readings such as those presented in this book, writers, critics and academics invited by the Universities of Milan and Bergamo called by Felisberto funambelescs and famous events. To invent with him how, without proposing it or without knowing it, it altered the perception and vision, triggered the subconscious, tortured the unconscious, exacerbated the irreversibility of logic, misrepresented his city and being. By making visible the invisible, by releasing the mind of the cage from what is spantoous and not wonderful, as much as dishope and abism, and with humour from the black one, Felisberto subverted the anti-stunning order of things. It succeeded in renewing its only and more true truth: poetry: the most useful and versatile tool to make memory, to tackle today the advent of the vulgariousness and obscenicity of neo-liberal in-culture.
