Abstract
what is a religious tradition, what needs to be changed and what is to be renewed — and what in no case? These are the basic questions in this book, on which Katrin visse examines and presents the positions of Muslim thinkers Fazlur Rahman (1919-1988), Khaled Abou El Fadl (*1963) and Seyyed Hossein Nasr (*1933). Inspired by their thoughts, the author, in a Christian-Muslim conversation, deepens the process of forwarding, spreading in various contexts and attaching back to bible or coran as inspirational sources. Katrin visse presents a Christian theology that has grown up in the minds of Muslim authors. Their analysis also shows how such a theology can (re-)discover itself in an interreligious conversation and can be inspired by other positions.
