The text to which we refer in this interpretative semantic analysis is part of the book On is not serious when one is 117 years old and is located in the section ‘Portrait of the artist of the idiot child’ of that book. This section contains texts relating to memories of the author’s childhood. The text studied appears from the outset to be a pastiche of La Fontaine’s fable ‘Le corbeau et l’foard’. Indeed, a few landmark formulas of the original rock have been retained, the actors are similar and, although misappropriated, the trial is the same. A short first step will be to demonstrate this relationship with the original fable. It will then be necessary to carry out a first, symbolic reading of the fable studied in order to characterise its referential printing and to see its effects. Finally, we will try to reread the fable to the way in which the text itself seems to propose it, by extracting underlying isotopic beams. At the end of the analysis, it will be necessary to highlight both formal processes and semantic recurring processes at Verheggen. To this end, we propose extending the thematic analysis to isotopic denominations and composting semic molecules on this new basis.
