Abstract

This article deals with how the regime of General Franco represented Marxist philosophy, both from an educational and informative point of view, and from the different treatment it had from sectors linked to the regime such as the Church, the falange or the legal and political system. This addresses a characterisation of marxism, which, following the evolution of the dictatorship itself, ranges from the mythology of the great ills of the homeland (‘Judeo-masonics conspiration’) to economic and social analyses purportedly objective.
