Abstract
the use of research results is becoming more and more part of the preoccupations of researchers, professionals and practitioners and we have seen a number of new approaches in recent years: technology transfer, dissemination of knowledge, use of research, dissemination of innovation, scientific extension, etc. It seems that research products are still relatively poorly used in psychosocial environments. The litterature, particularly in the fields of health and technological development, makes it possible to identify a number of conditions which should be considered in order to encourage greater use of the results of research. The latest part of the article sets out the results of our work carried out jointly with Community bodies in the United Kingdom with a view to developing a model of knowledge transfer adapted to this area of intervention.
