Abstract

The Higher Social Labour Council has been invited by Fabienne Quiriaux, advisor to Philippe Bas, to provide expertise to the Minister for Social Security, the harsh people, people with disabilities and the family, and to formulate his opinions and suggestions for the future framework law on child protection, making it possible to improve the coherence of the arrangements and practices of practitioners. He did so at his pleniere on 10 February 2006. First of all, the CSTS wished to reaffirm the fundamental principles which must prevail in any child protection law, before making proposals for its improvement and for implementation.
