Kroz rad je prikazan transport i skladištenje slijedeće hrane: meso i prerađevine od mesa, ribe i građa riba, mlijeko i mliječni proizvodi, žitarice, voće i prerađevine od voća i povrće. U radu je prikazana usporedba transporta i skladištenja hrane životinjskog, odnosno biljnog porijekla. Transport i skladištenje hrane karkterizira: način rukovanja s hranom, održavanje određene temperature, zaštita od utjecaja sunčeve svjetlosti i od pojave štetnih mikroorganizama. Način transporta i skladištenja hrane indirektno može utjecati na zdravlje čovjeka. ; Theme of this paper is the transportation and food storage. Under the transport and storage involves the proper handling food from producer to consumer. They mutually condition each other, and on them depends the quality of the food. Through the work shows transportation and storage of the following foods: meat and meat products, fish and timber fish, milk and milk products, cereals, fruit and fruit products and vegetables. This paper presents a comparison of transportation and food storage of animal or plant origin. Transportation and food storage is characterized by: a way of handling food, maintain a certain temperature, protection from sunlight and from the appearance of harmful microorganisms. Means of transport and storage of food can indirectly affect human health.
