Abstract
The analysis of the youth camps in the Olympic Games (OJ) shows that the young participants come together by offering specific activities in the knowledge and accessibility of Olympic through the culture of the host city. The specificity of these camps is that they bring together the concepts of place and cultural heritage, both for the Olympic history and for the host city, giving a trend towards the globalisation of Olympic values at the service of the mega-event and the organising place. The youth camp is becoming an object of transmission, broken down into various categories: geography, culture, sport, etc. He thus contributes to the dynamics of the regions and the Olympic event as an actor in national tourism by promoting its heritage and society and transmitting vernacular knowledge.
