Installation of the new members was conducted in a beautiful and most meaningful ceremony. The program was opened with the pledge of allegiance led by James Hayden. After Mr. Moore had given the opening remarks Mr. Paul E. Mann introduced the candidates. The insalling staff, Junior members of last year, were them presented by Mrs. Evalyn Clark. The candidates were then taken into the Harlem chapter of Quill and Scroll and were presented their pins and jewels. Guest speaker was Mr. Stanley Buckels whose topic was “You and the News.” Entertainment for the program was given by the Harlem High Madrigals directed by Mrs. Vivienne Peterson. New officers for the Quill and Scroll were elected and resulted as follows: President-David Marks. Vice President-Sharon Runyan. Secretary-Iris Meredith. Treasurer-Nancy Kampen.
