Sistema de conformación de impulsos configurables para aplicación en electrofisiología cardiaca experimental

Abstract

[EN] The aim of the present work is the design and implementation of a system of configurable pulses shaping to be used in electrophysiological experimental heart application in heart isolated and perfused models of small mammals. Through this project the modification of the electrical impulses that stimulates the heart tissue is performed. The paper has been raised by the group Bio-ITACA of the Polytechnic University of Valencia that works together with the GRELCA group of the Valencia University in research related to cardiac arrhythmias, since commercial impulse shaping systems are very expensive and have more function than these groups need for their experiments. Therefore, raised the idea of making its own impulse conformation system that fits exactly to the needs of the experiments to perform, and which in turn is an effective and economical system. The sync signal used in this project is the one generated by a pulse generator system already available of a previous development designed by a classmate during his performance of the TFG. This system is based on a microcontroller, specifically using the STM32F3 development plate, and a graphical interface that allows the user to configure different parameters of sync pulses. Finally, the performance of the project has been successful since has been achieved the design of a system that allows you to modify the different parameters (duration and amplitude) of the impulse, as well as being able to choose if you want that the stimulus either be single-phase or two-phase.
