Company plan of an IT consulting firm specialized on blockchain

Abstract

[is] A consultancy firm is an enterprise with at least one expert or consultant that provides professional advice to an individual or organisation for a fee. These organisations can specialise in many fields of study, such as finance, administration, technology or medical care. When a consultancy bases its activity on technology, it focuses on how its clients can use the technology to improve their business and ultimately achieve better results. Today, some new technologies are being developed, such as IoT or Blockchain. These newly-born technologies can change the way we do business around the world in a few years. As a result, companies may be interested in investing and developing these technologies in their activities. And a great help for them can be a blockchain consultancy, where a team of experts can assist them in this process. This project will define a business plan for a consulting company based in Spain working in the Valencian region in partnership with a Chinese consultancy company. The first part: first, a brief introduction of how the purpose and objectives of the project, with a timetable. A brief explanation of the company details as well as the company’s mission, vision and values. Finally, definition of the services offered by the company. The second part is the analysis of the Spanish market. In this part, we will analyse the consultancy and consultancy market in Spain, as well as an external analysis of the company, based on its macroenvironment and microenvironment. We will then highlight the commercial advantages and disadvantages of the Spanish market and organise them in a FODA matrix, highlighting their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Finally, we will summarise the whole party in a brief conclusion. The third part: we will analyse another market, this time the Chinese market, focusing on the same issues as the Spanish one. Part IV: We will design a marketing plan for the company during its first year of operation. We will define our trade objectives and then define some strategies to achieve them. We will also talk about the blending of markets, and finally we will identify some methods to check whether we achieve our objectives. Part V: we will define the legal structure of the company as well as the taxes to be followed by the company. We will also define who will be behind the financial management of the company and finally define the legality of an international company with a Chinese company. Part VI: in this part, we will define an economic-financial plan for the company in order to analyse the economic and financial viability of the company. We will define an investment and a financing plan. In addition, we will make forecasts of our revenue and expenditure, our cash flow, our profit and loss account and our provisional balance at the end of the first financial year of the company. We will also calculate our break-even point and some ratios to obtain a proper interpretation of economic and financial viability. Part VII: in this part, the decision whether or not to open the undertaking will be taken. Salts Bellés, D. (2019).
