Business plan for the launch of a retail artisanal add-on company

Abstract

[ES] The present Carrera Final Project presents a business plan for the opening of a retail shop offering in-house manufacturing supplements and other co-branded craft goods. An introductory discussion will be made of the reasons for the implementation of this project in particular, explaining where the idea has emerged and why it was motivated and further developed here. A strategic analysis of the business environment will then be carried out, starting from outside, within, i.e. the general environment surrounding this activity, to the nearest environment and the company itself. This analysis begins with the study of the company’s macroenvironment, which has been analysed using the PEST model, which includes the political, economic, social and technological factors surrounding it. After the macro-environment, the micro-environment is studied, i.e. the closest environment that directly affects the company, its own sector. This will be done using Porter’s 5 forces model, which looks at customers, suppliers, competitors, substitutes and market entry barriers. The study of competing companies within the market in which the company competes will be further explored; finally, it will be analysed by means of a SWOT matrix, the internal strengths and weaknesses of the proposed company, and the opportunities and threats presented to it. The next point of this work concerns the analysis of the company’s processes, where it will see the location chosen to start its activity and the processes to be carried out. The following point speaks about the organisation itself. Your mission, vision and values will be shown. The legal and tax regime best suited to the characteristics of the company will be chosen and the job structure and human resources defined. The Marketing Plan is the following point. It will define the company’s market and target audience and, once determined, analyse the product, price, distribution and communication variables so that they are defined and the company’s strategy to compete on the market. The economic and financial aspects anticipated for the company will then be analysed so as to serve as a basis for determining the viability of this project and its potential. To this end, estimates of the volume of operations and revenue and expenditure shall be drawn up, on the basis of which the estimated financial statements shall be drawn up. To finalise the work, a point of conclusions will be drawn up, summarising all the most important and salient aspects of each chapter of the work, and will make a final assessment of the business plan. Work will be closed with the Bibliography, which lists the consultations carried out for the implementation of the business plan. Llobell Blasco, M. (2015).
