Abstract
[es] A former Santa Pola shipyard, on the front line of the sea, will undergo a process of transformation or exploitation so that all the space that was home to the shipbuilding industry has a second life. A new recycled space will be planned for different uses: exhibition halls, R & D & I area and a workshop for fishing and carpentry work on boat banks (traditional works of Santa Pola). All these uses will coexist in the former shipyard where the structure will be respected, as a gesture of what existed and almost sculptural action in this architecture, since from any visual aspect of this cultural container it will be possible to see this skeleton and by the former shipyard. On the other hand, the site, located between beaches, is a privileged location for creating a new leisure area for hospitality and nautical sports, thus dispersing activity along the sea.
