Abstract
the main objective of the study is to obtain information on the use of photovoltaic systems (PV) in two European locations with different conditions, not only climatic but also economic. The location was at Gandy, the east coast of Spain, with a Mediterranean climate and a high number of sunshine hours per year; Brno, located in the east of the Czech Republic, with a humid continental climate and a lower value of solar hours. The study will be carried out in two similar dwellings with the same number of inhabitants and equipment. Differences in electricity prices and fees between the two countries will be taken into account, with the intention of estimating whether the use of photovoltaic systems is feasible not only in favourable climate areas but also in central Europe where the number of solar hours is more limited and the climate tighter. This viability will be mainly affected by the premium added to the electricity generated with the system and four modes of operation will be studied to estimate what percentage of the electricity produced should be used and what percentage would be sold by the Delegate Archive.
