Development of a wireless humidity and temperature sensor device with low power consumption itegrated into a home automation system

Abstract

Developing and production of a wireless humidity and temperature sensor device. This prototype is part of a low power home automation system which is based on Atmel ATmega128RFA1 microcontrollers using the OpenSource OS Contiki. The device communicates with the central node via Wifi 802.11 and 6LoWPAN based on IEEE 802.15.4 with IPv6. Faus Atienza, A. (2014).
