Abstract
This report is made up of two parts: The first one is a brief theoreNcal framework which intends to contextualize the pracNcal part of the project. In it are gathered the milestones in the evoluNon of the illustrated album, which allows us to understand its current configuraNon. AddiNonally, the features that define a children´s illustrated album are described by considering the literary text on the one side and the visual part on the other side. On the second part, a detailed descripNon of the employed methodology in the execuNon of the album is carried out. The stages in the creaNon of the album are looked over step by step, from the first sketches to the final art. By taking as a starNng point the theoreNcal premises of the album and by making use of a pracNcal and organized in Nme method, the different phases of the development of the book have been covered up to bring to compleNon a work of chidren´s literature
