[ES] As a first part, a number of transversal competences are proposed and explained. Based on the list of competences presented, we analyse, firstly, the competences proposed by universities offering official master’s degrees in the field of cultural management in Spain and, secondly, the competences proposed by ICOM for museum workers. The analysis will draw up a list of ten competencies that are considered to be the most important for the cultural management staff of a museum. Two museums in the city of Valencia will then be presented and will assess the list of competences set out in the first part of the work. The third part of the work presents the proposal for the assessment of transversal competences, which will be implemented in the chosen museum institutions.
