Abstract
[EN] The current final degree project aims to bring together the largest number of knowledge acquired in the Degree of Technical Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, generating a studio project and feasibility of a change in activity of a real building in the neighborhood of Benimaclet, Valencia . A traditional house will be studied in its entirety, besides knowing its evolution over the years helping us to understand this type of architecture and the culture of the city of Valencia, traditions, lifestyle, the characteristics of their homes, building systems, etc. that it had up to the time. Also trying to revitalize the historic districts of Valencia, creating social projects in traditional houses in disuse, having an attractive approach for the citizen and be a vital contribution to our city. Always looking for an attractive while useful approach for people on foot, through the rehabilitation of disused or places that it could create a better outlook for its neighbors. Therefore, thanks to the collaboration agreement between the ETSIE, UPV and HE. Valencia City Council will bring an idea of the most attractive and staff to encourage rehabilitation in these old neighborhoods and prevent them from being forgotten. I have learned about traditional architecture being able to provide respectful proposals that enhance these kinds of architecture and promote the revitalization of these activities advancing social integration in the neighborhood of Benimaclet.
