Abstract
[ES] The present final work aims to gather the greatest amount of knowledge acquired in the Technical Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Valencia by generating a study and feasibility project for a change of activity of a real building located in the district of Benimaclet, Valencia. It will study a traditional dwelling in its entirety, as well as knowing how it evolves over the years, helping us to understand this type of architecture, as well as the culture of the city of Valencia, its traditions, way of life, the characteristics of its dwellings, construction systems, etc. it has had until the time. It is also intended to revitalise historic courage neighbourhoods, creating social projects in disused traditional housing, which have an attractive approach to citizens and are a vital contribution to our city, always seeking an attractive approach that is useful for ordinary people, thanks to the rehabilitation of disused sites or those that could create a better perspective for their neighbours. Therefore, thanks to the cooperation agreement between ETSIE, UPV and the City Council of Valencia, we will provide an idea of what is most attractive and personal to encourage rehabilitation in these old neighbourhoods and avoid them being forgotten. I have been able to learn from traditional architecture and be able to provide respectful proposals that enhance these architectures and encourage their revitalisation by promoting social activities that enable them to be integrated into the Benimaclet district.
