Disseny i muntatge d'una impressora 3D basada en Arduino

Abstract

[EN] This paper deals with the design, assembly and programming process of an Arduinobased 3D printer. To do this, we first analyze the social and professional context that explains the need for 3D printing technology, and we will provide an overview of its history and development in recent years. The proposed design is based on the famous models Prusa i3 MK2S, developed by Josef Prusa, and Prusa i3 Hephestos, from the Spanish company BQ. These designs will be modified according to the price, the required performance and the availability of the materials, comparing some of the main options. Next, we will detail the assembly process, focusing especially on the problems found during it. As for programming, we will use Marlin software, introducing the appropriate setting for the new printer and will present the main programs used for the design, conversion and preparation of parts for 3D printing. In addition, a remote monitoring system via Wi-Fi is included through the OctoPi operating system, installed on a Raspberry Pi Zero W board with built-in camera. Finally, we will discuss some possible future solutions to solve some of the typical problems with 3D printers and the paper will be closed with the final conclusions. TFGM
