Remedial approach of soil contaminated with hydrocarbons/salt

Abstract

This study evaluates the feasibility of treating salts/hydrocarbon impacted soil sediments, using a passive soil washing remediation technique. Soils associated with a pipeline break need some type of treatment to recover their initial properties. In order to achieve this, it has been used a bench scale test for the excavated material.
