Abstract

The Cantionary of Abraham Israel is a manuscript kept in the Spanish National Library, copied by a seaside man from Gibraltar between the 60s and 70th century. It contains multiple popular songs, Romance, other poems, a list of comedies and a version of the Romce of Quevedo’s ‘Black Boda’, probably copied from a written text (manuscript or loose document)
