Abstract
Video Presentation of the Ibero-American Publishers and Publishers’ Portal (XIX-XXI centuries). EDI-RED ', which aims to map the literary edition in Spanish, Catalan, Basque and Galician, as well as in Portuguese, from 1800 to the present day, either in paper or in digital form. Round table at the House of America, Madrid, five May 2016. Santiago Miralles, Director of the House of America, presented the project and portal ‘Ibero-American Publishers and Publishers’ (XIX-XXI centuries). EDI-RED’. This ambitious project focuses on the figure and the work of publishers, publishers, collections and literary advisors, from decimonic artisanal companies, to macro-groups that dominate the international scene, to the ‘cultural guerrillas’ that the publisher Jorge Herralde characterises as the happy and anomalous independent proposals that coexist with the large publishing labels. The material offered has been originally created for this portal and aims to illustrate the gestation and development of an International Republic of Laws that challenges borders, breakdowns and azars and ensures the necessary biblio-diversity.
