Abstract
[EN]The purpose of this work is to present the concepts of medicine held in al-Andalus. This was a complex science where philosophy, magic, superstition, astrology and alchemy came together to form an inseparable whole. In al-Andalus, a recognized physician was a seeker of wisdom, with knowledge of anatomy, physiology, botany, hygiene, astrology, alchemy and religion. Al-Andalus drew on the classical oriental tradition, transformed it and expanded upon it in order to finally transmit it to the rest of Europe and become the essential collaborator of the Renaissance.
