SEXUALITY EDUCATION, A CHALLENGE IN THE TRAINING OF EDUCATION PROFESSIONALS

Abstract

Education for health and, in particular, sexuality is an essential aspect of achieving a proper form of action and understanding the boundaries between partners, sexual and reproductive life, in order to avoid the risks of early pregnancy, compromise, STIs and low self-esteem, all of which can only be complemented by responsible behaviour by all those who interact in the training of new generations. A proposal is made for activities that contribute to the integration of cognitive, stimulative, guiding and practical roles that contribute to strengthening responsibility in sexuality education for professionals in training education based on the principle of dual pedagogical intent, who will take resources to successfully tackle responsible sexuality for themselves and others.
