This study aimed to know who the Paranasian coach is, how they have tripped their way to starting their career and how they have trained themselves as professionals. To collect this information, a questionnaire specifically designed for that purpose was first constructed and validated. 58 coaches with an average age of 32,5 ± 9,9 years participated in the sample. The SPSS 20.0 software was used to analyse the data. In possession of the data, it was possible to see that the class of Paranaese coaches in most cases is composed of men who started their career around 19,1 ± 4 years of age, after working as bullemen. In general, these coaches have a good technical level and are classified as class 1 or 2 in the FPT ranking. Most reported that they were studying or being trained in Physical Education or Sport, showing a strong interest in continuing training, as reflected by the massive presence in CBT’s training courses and the desire to take part in a postgraduate course in the modality. The initial and continuous training of coaches has shown to have a significant influence on the rent obtained by professionals and is more decisive than the technical level of gambling presented.
