Abstract
The article proposes a teaching strategy through cooperative play to promote water awareness among the student population of Business Administration at the University of Amazonia in the Colombian Amazonian Piedmont. It is applied research in the field of education with a descriptive cross-sectional approach, involving the phases of diagnosis, implementation and evaluation of the teaching intervention. The results lead to limitations of water environmental knowledge in future professionals in the region, which are inputs to the design and construction of cooperative gambling from a socio-cultural perspective. The implementation of the game’s potential as a driver of learning, motivating changes in habits and practices with regard to the rational use of water resources and the development of generic skills, such as: teamwork, assertive communication, consensus and decision-making.
