Abstract
The aim of this study is to clarify the existence of reports by men in situations of domestic violence, as well as to emphasise the denial of health intervention proposals from compulsory notifications. In addition to the examination of those notifications, it is proposed to ascertain whether or not public policies are present in connection with the reception of that defendant, and how the victims have articulated themselves in order to legitimise rights at the heart of domestic violence. The methodological pathway was based on qualitative research and, as such, the desk study. Despite the highly asserted complaints in the health network in which everyone was seeking their rights, it is also observed that silence becomes the subject of defence of the assailant. It is therefore necessary to ensure that the Law on the Penha is permeable to both sexes and, at the same time, to strengthen and build prevention policies against violence in a variety of sectors and actors, particularly because this issue is not exhausted in real time, since there is not only a woman who is at the margins of an abusive scenario, but also the need to do so; also, the man with his patriarchal reserves puts emphasis on this cut-off.
