Abstract
In this article, the results of an acoustic study on the production of glides by speakers with Parkinson’s disease and control speakers are presented. Our aim is to explore the dynamics of supra-aryngeal articulators in MP, especially in non-dysarthric MP speakers. Our results show differences between the two groups of subjects (MP speakers and witnesses), in particular as regards the range of movements and location in plan F1-F2. I also note that those differences occur in the absence of dysarthria, suggesting the identification of infringing phenomena in Parkinson’s disease.
