Abstract
In this article, we explore changes and continuities in the demands raised by the Indigenous Peoples of the Peruvian Amazon through their organisations in recent decades. The central objective is to explain how at different times these societies have faced the defence of loaves they consider to be an essential part of their way of life, which is increasingly threatened with the advancement of modern society, capitalism and globalisation. This review would allow us to dispel the arguments that characterise indigenous taxable persons, which are manipulable and in the interests of others; at the same time, it will give us a better understanding of the changes that have taken place within indigenous societies in super-acceptance and in their relationship with the territory.
